Feature Creep
So I didn't get as far as I had hoped on Ricky this weekend. I tried strapping a smaller breadboard to the gearbox and making him work from there, which he did but I have too much stuff I want to put on him to fit it all on. I also have been coding some test stuff on my PIC so I can see how to wire everything up. I plan to put it completely together and then program the proper logic. The other problem is my chassis is way too small to hold everything now. Below is a list of all the parts he will have:
- 2 Precise front photoresistors
- 2 crappy underneath photoresistors
- 2 High brightness white LEDs underneath
- 2 batteries, one for TTL and one for driving motors
- 2 independent motors and associated gear box
- Salvaged RF Receiver with large antennae wire
- Microcontroller and H-Bridge
- Touch sensor with protruding parts
- Charging setup through touch sensors
- Some way to know if it's charging
- Top I/O with 2 LEDs, and a large button
- Piezo buzzer
